Dear ____,

Thank you for your submission, “_______,” for Volume XX, no. X of Science for the People magazine, “________." Our editorial collective enjoyed reading your proposal, but unfortunately has chosen not to include your submission in this issue. We received a high volume of fantastic submissions, and we are only able to accept eight features for this issue due to budget and printing constraints.

However, we do feel like your proposal may be a strong fit for SftP Online, a new, separate online-only branch of SftP Publishing. If you would like to submit your article for consideration there, please fill out . Note that frameworks are required for submissions to SftP online. If we have already received your framework, but please submit it through the form again as we have separate editorial processes and teams.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the editing process by joining a future editorial collective, please let me know. Or, if you’re interested in joining the SftP Online editorial team, you can fill out this form. Likewise, if you have any other questions or comments, feel free to reach out. We hope to have the opportunity to work with you in the future!

Finally, we are collecting demographic information on everyone who submits ideas to Science for the People to help us stay accountable to the social justice mission of Science for the People. If you have not already done so, please fill out our questionnaire. Any responses shared publicly will be anonymized; your responses will not be shared outside the editorial collective.

In solidarity,
